As shocking as it might sound to you, there is a relationship between diabetes and some types of cancer such as prostate cancer, colon cancer etc. Further, high levels of cholesterol and high blood pressure are directly linked to obesity and being overweight. The bones of an obese individual carry so much weight compared to that of a normal person, something which could lead to arthritis, osteoporosis and at times even erosion of the cartilage from your joints.
